Trinidad State signs 3B from Nevada

(TRINIDAD, Colo.) – Trinidad State Junior College Softball coach Steve Swazo is proud to announce the signing of Sophia McCann, a third baseman from Coronado High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. McCann brings a solid glove and swings the bat well from the right side.

"I am excited to have Sophia as part of the Lady Trojan softball program," Swazo said. "She comes from a great high school program where former TSJC player Amanda Garrison attended. She will compete for the vacant third base position that we will have for next year. When I saw her play this past summer at the Colorado Sparkler tournament, she just impressed me with her presence on the field and how well she played. Expecting her to have a solid two years at Trinidad."

Sophia is the daughter of Michael and Claudine McCann.
