(TRINIDAD, Colo.) – Trinidad State's Jolinalynn Achiu recently made the decision to continue her volleyball career in Lindsborg, Kansas playing for the Bethany Swedes. Achiu, an outside hitter from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, racked up 254 kills her sophomore season at Trinidad State. She led the team in service aces with 38 and in digs with 411.
"I am extremely excited to see Ipo (Achiu) continuing on with her volleyball career," commented Trojan head coach Melissa Hardman. "She has worked hard and persevered through some obstacles to get to this point. She will do great things in the future! Good Luck!"
Jolinalynn graduated from TSJC this December and will major in Business at Bethany. She will be joining a Swede team that was 10-21 in 2016, but had a respectable 8-14 record in the tough Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) of the NAIA.
