(Trinidad, CO)- Briana Gomez, from New Braunfels, Texas has signed to play volleyball at Trinidad State this fall. The 6' middle hitter had a kill percentage of .361 her senior season at Steele High School. She also recorded seven solo and 32 assisted blocks.
"Briana came on campus for a visit with a few other athletes. She stood out with her aggressiveness in getting to the ball," praised Coach Melissa Hardman. "Briana moved well along the net and hit whatever was set at her. She is a confident player who will bring a good confidence to the team. Briana will be one to keep an eye on this next season!"
Gomez received Academic all-district in 2016. She plans to major in Health Science at TSJC.
